Upon arrival at a new client’s house I was greeted by an elderly man and his beautiful Airedale named Bonnie.  While we were discussing dog behaviors he informed me that she will only walk counterclockwise through his large circular subdivision!  I questioned this but he was quite insistent and made me promise to always turn right.

Well, of course I didn’t believe him and had to check it out.  Sure enough we get to the end of the driveway and Bonnie will only go right.  I begged and pleaded and plied her with treats all to no avail.  Never one to turn down a challenge I set about showing her there’s more to the world than just one counterclockwise circle.  By the end of the week she’d had many wonderful clockwise adventures and really unwound.
